Planning, Planning
Lots of PLANNING for next season going on. I’m getting the folks I want to join me in Kitchener Waterloo. I think once the season is up, it will look really good — probably one of the most innovative orchestras around. I think I’ve found a way to invite artists who really connect with audiences, are truly creative, but don’t fit into the normally narrow confines of classical programming. Why are those confines so narrow anyway? It’s not doing us any good, and it’s not how music organically works.
I also had two other interesting experiences last week: I took a mud bath in Calistoga, and shook hands with Shaquile O’Neal in my gym. My, his hands were big!
